Will Stuart
Composer • Arranger • Musical Director

Will is a Composer and Arranger based in London.  He is currently writing the music for Pygmalion at the Old Vic, and is the Music Supervisor for the UK tour of The Drifters Girl. 

Recent projects include Composer and Arranger of The Corn is Green at the National Theatre and GOOD at the Harold Pinter; Orchestrator and Arranger of My Neighbour Totoro at the Barbican (for which he was nominated for an Olivier Award); Composer of Noises Off  at the Phoenix; Music Supervisor of The Secret Life of Bees at the Almeida; and Vocal Arranger and Musical Director of The Drifters Girl at the Garrick. 

Will has composed music heard on TV channels including BBC 1, BBC2, Channel 4 and Sky Arts.  As an Arranger and Orchestrator he has worked with artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Paloma Faith, Cerys Matthews and Bryn Terfel, and has also produced music for Stella McCartney's show at Paris Fashion Week.  He has written orchestrations for ensembles including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra and the BBC Big Band.  

As a Musical Director and Conductor Will has been a frequent collaborator with the team at the Old Vic, both in London and on Broadway, and has worked extensively in the West End.
